You can also be pretty anonymous if you register, since you only need an email address, and you can hide it from everyone except for the board admin, Teri McGrath. If you want, you can make a gmail account to use for this board and make up a name and an avatar. Then no one really needs to know who you are.
It's handy to register because then you can form relationships more easily on here, you can be "exalted" or "Smited," and you can probably get notifications in your email inbox.
Though your name may be concealed, it's likely that people may still be able to figure out who you are because we're all basically neighbors, so don't get crazy with the stuff.

It can also make conversatons turn into ridiculously offensive tirades and flamewars. We have to learn how to deal with these as individuals and as communities. I usually respond by unleashing my arsenal of obscenity and getting it out of my system, then moving on.
